As an individual who spends most of his time at work involved with network security in one way or another, I really question some of the acts being considered by the governments around the world. Does anyone involved in creating or debating these acts consider they are just going to push everything to be encrypted faster, effectively making it harder and harder to use DPI for valid reasons? Eventually the entire Internet is going to be encrypted. What are they going to do then, outlaw encryption?
